When does Joomta pay?
Answer: Joomta pays all eligible users on the 3rd day of the next month. For example, if you're eligible for payment by the end of the month of March, you'll receive your total earnings on the 3rd day of April.
What do I need to do in order to get paid?
Answer: In order to get paid your referral and site activity earnings after the end of a month, you'll need to refer at least 2 people in each week of the month if you're a paid Joomta member (i.e. if you paid a Joining Fee in order to join Joomta.com) and you'll need to refer at least 7 people in each week of the month if you're a Free Joomta.com member.
If I refer 100 people in the first week of the month, will I be eligible for payment after the end of the month?:
Answer: Sadly, no you will not. In order to be paid your earnings after the end of a month, you will need to to refer at least 2 people in each week of the month if you're a paid Joomta member (i.e. if you paid a Joining Fee in order to join Joomta.com) and you'll need to refer at least 7 people in each week of the month if you're a Free Joomta.com member, so if you refer 100 people in the first week of the month, and don't refer anyone else you will not be paid at the end of that month. In order to be paid you'll need to reach the minimum weekly referral threshold for each week of the month.
Why Does Joomta Now Charge a Membership Fee, afterall it used to be Free?
Answer: After analyzing our referral and signup logs, we discovered that about 26% of Free Joomta users were simply creating fake accounts for the sole purpose of getting referral earnings. The only way for us to prevent this was to implement a payment feature. We sincerely apologize for the sadness that this has caused among our honest referrers, but the only way to stop the incidence of fake accounts by both new and existing Joomta referrers is to make registration contingent on payment.
I've forgotten my password. How can I login to my account?
Answer: Simply tap on the Reset Password link at the bottom of the login page, and enter your email address on the page that comes up. A password reset link will be automatically sent to your email address for you to reset your password.
Do the people I refer need to join Joomta before I can be credited with a Referral?
Answer: Yes, the people you refer need to join Joomta before you can be credited with their referral.
I'm currently a Free user, how do I upgrade my account to paid?
Answer: It is not currently possible to upgrade a Free Joomta account to paid. If you want to become a paid Joomta member, you'll need to create a new Joomta account. We intend to introduce the Free Account upgrade feature within a 60-day timeframe.
I have a question that is not covered by any of the above, what do I do?
Answer: If you have a question that we haven't covered above, please email it to us via [email protected], however please be aware that due to the considerable number of emails we receive on a daily basis (between 1,700 to ~3,000 emails received every single day), we are not able to reply to each individual email. Because of this, we only reply to the most pressing and urgent emails. However if we notice that a lot of people are asking the same question you asked, we will add that question, and the answer to that question to this Frequently Asked Questions page, so please endeavour to frequently check this page to see if an answer to your question has been posted.
